This fella got comfortable in my garage last night. Scooby was very interested in his movements, and I didn’t want to find a crime scene in the morning.
So I tried to guide him out with a broom. True to bird form, he went anywhere but out the door to freedom :|
Finally, he landed on the garage door under the ceiling. So I pressed the close button and let him ride it outside like a conveyor belt.
Stupid bird.

Maybe it just wanted a ride

Reminds me of the time I got a goldfinch in the garage. Same thing - it wouldn't fly out. I thought it was out, and it wasn't, and I found it dead the next day. :(

Well he was sitting on one of my old wheelchairs. He should have landed on my lap. I would have given him a ride out.
Also, this is fucking hilarious.

Cedar Waxwings are beautiful birds, but they eat nothing but berries and sit in trees and gang up to shit all over everything, usually right after I wash my van.

He probably did the same thing to mine.

I felt bad about that one. Goldfinches are not particularly common around here.
